THE ANALYST’S WORKSPACE

From a record
to a defensible finding.

A spatial viewer and an investigation workspace in the same app. Move between the big picture and the original source record.

◎

A globe with context.

The online globe opens with 16,369 catalogued public camera locations from 13 providers, with search and clustering—no key needed. The installed app adds other supported camera providers, aircraft, vessels, satellites, environmental events and your own geographic data. Bring your own API keys and provider access.

Bring your sources.

Choose from 100 verified public datasets, search by topic and add a source or map layer in one step. Connect your own JSON, GeoJSON or CSV APIs and import local files.

⌘

Follow shared identifiers.

Pivot across records that mention the same IP address, domain, CVE or SHA-256. Inspect the source behind each match.

▱

Build a case.

Save immutable evidence snapshots, add analyst notes, and export a portable dossier with original payloads and verification hashes.

◈

Watch for changes.

Set text, severity, source and geographic rules. Review local alerts when collection finds a new or changed matching record.

↧

Keep a recoverable record.

Export complete filtered results, inspect version history, check the local audit chain, and create consistent workspace backups.

Public views.
A sample investigation.

Start with real public camera views on the globe, then explore twelve synthetic records across three sources. Search, follow shared identifiers, create a case, and save example evidence. Demo changes stay in this tab and reset on refresh.

A FEW DETAILS

Know what you’re
connecting.

Do I need API keys?

Not for importing files or the public demo. Many live providers need their own key or account. Your installed copy uses your credentials; DaemonView does not share a common paid key among users.

Where are my data and keys stored?

Your installed workspace stays on your PC. Custom connector keys are encrypted with Windows DPAPI. Globe providers retain their own local credential setup; some map tokens are browser-visible by design. Connected providers receive your requests. See the privacy and data notes.

Which parts of the online demo are real?

The public camera layer shows real images published by the National Park Service. The separate analyst workspace contains fictional assets, events and findings; its example IP addresses and domains do not identify real targets. Camera views are periodic images and may be delayed or unavailable.

Does DaemonView include every data source?

It includes a broad spatial feature base and configurable GET APIs, but coverage depends on your sources. OAuth, streaming and automatic pagination need dedicated adapters. The public distribution excludes the upstream noncommercial Nepal event and TeleGeography datasets.

How is this related to God’s Eye View?

DaemonView builds on the MIT-licensed God’s Eye View project by Bilawal Sidhu and contributors. It adds a local analyst workspace, records, cases, evidence, connections and a Windows desktop package. Original copyright and data attribution are retained. Read the credits.
